Plan and supervise the logistics within the coordination base (repairs, equipment maintenance, stock management, cleanliness…), in order to ensure the best operational working conditions in the capital.  Supervise and support base/capital logistician activities in capital.  Organize and supervise driver’s schedules, vehicles maintenance, vehicles registration and insurance, fuel consumptions, etc. in order to ensure coping with the transportation and movement needs.  Perform check-up and supervision of the proper functioning of the computers and other communication and IT equipment, in order to ensure a continuous and appropriate flow of information and communication.  Ensure repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment as well as cold chain equipment and other technical equipment used or stocked in capital and inform logistic coordinator in case of any further needs concerning technical equipment, in order to have an adequate running.  Assist logistics coordinator in troubleshooting/maintenance and ordering/transportation/installation of bio-med equipment in projects/capital.  Assist logistics coordinator in troubleshooting/maintenance and ordering/transportation/installation of electrical equipment/systems in projects/capital. Perform electrical safety checks, monitor and suggest upgrades in electrical systems. Order and review performed works.  Assist logistical coordinator with technical support on ICT/bio-med/electrical/construction/power/vehicles in coordination/projects.  Maintain current inventory for the capital.  Inform the logistics coordinator in case of any major issue and draw-up all required reporting, in order to keep updated and reliable information that will ease decision-making

Analyze the ICT needs, draw up a draft of the ICT budget and design an adapted strategy aiming to optimize the investment on information and communication technology. Study the ICT market in country, comparing prices and quality of equipment, software and internet providers/services, in order to optimize buying decisions and to ensure local assistance. Create and maintains a contact network of ICT providers in order to ensure communications and IT local purchase quality. Identify and implement Information management practices to enhance the system and equipment effectiveness and reliability (check-up, deployment of applications, systems or new ICT standards, maintenance, updating stock of spare parts and equipment and replacing obsolete items when necessary, cleaning, etc.). Plan and provide network security to ensure that appropriate access control is used internally on the LAN/WLAN’s, and to prevent intrusions. Ensure updating and upgrading activities in order to ensure that all the users and their equipment on the network are standardized with respect to virus protection, software, hardware and network configuration. Execute security management protocols (backups, anti-malware updates and software patching; firewall protection; etc.) in order to ensure an immediate operational recovery/continuity in case of emergency and data security & availability. Provide support and training to users (on software, hardware, telecom problems, etc.), ensure fluent communications and the correct use, maintenance and running of IT equipment and networks. Train and supervise local IT assistants in other offices of the organization on daily maintenance tasks and 1st level support, in order to improve ICT staff capabilities and to improve lead time response. Assist direct supervisor with other logistic tasks as needed.
