Handling all compliance matters of the companies of the ThyssenKrupp Group in Spain (24 companies) and Portugal (6 companies), being Compliance defined as advising on Anti-Bribery and Anti-Trust (Competition) matters Ensuring the implementation of the Group Policies and Guidelines in the region by training, advice, process review/update, implementing additional controls, where necessary, .... Coordination of activities with the local Compliance Managers of all local companies Position reports directly into Headquarters in Germany

: Head Legal & Compliance Iberia Region (Spain and Portugal) GRÜNENTHAL GROUP), Madrid, Leading a small team of one Legal & Compliance lawyer and one assistant, coaching the lawyer and delegating specially the daily legal issues to the lawyer.. Responsible for all legal issues of the Group, as contracts (license, distribution, Manufacturing, R+D, Services, ...), negotiations with (national and international) third parties , coordination of international matters with the German headquarter, corporate issues, ... Adapt the Code of Conduct to Iberia Region and roll it out by giving the corresponding information sessions and training to all employees of the Grünenthal Group. Training sessions in order to first create knowledge regarding Compliance by transmitting information about applicable laws and Code, and currently trying to make all employees understand the need of compliance by giving visibility top Compliance in the daily business (through control of events, participation in events) and providing all employees with on-line and face-to-face training sessions and establish the necessary control measures in order to ensure compliance Control of the Marketing Activities through direct control (SOPs, for example, approval of promotional materials by Compliance or coordination of external control (for example, the expense reports of all employees are controlled by a third party contracted by us) Identification of potential risks and implementing necessary measures in order to eliminate such risks Investigate potential non-compliant activities and starting if necessary measure to correct non-compliant situations Follow up of legislation and applicable Code and inform the employees about modification if necessary Member external working groups (Working Group In-House Lawyers of the Spanish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry; Working Group Code of Practice of the Spanish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry) Invited member of Grünenthal's Spanish/Iberia Management Team, Grünenthal's Iberia Management Team, and Grünenthal's Committee for the Approval of Donations
